I create all kinds of online video content for businesses, brands and bands.

I work with a network of creative collaborators to fulfil the needs of any project.

Since going freelance in 2016, I’ve completed a wide variety of projects and have worked for Council organisations, a whole host of awesome independent brands and businesses, toured with a band to film many music festivals around the UK and travelled to film events, brands and influencers around the world.

I’ve also got to work alongside some amazing creative agencies & video production companies and have developed a keen understanding of marketing and social media content creation.

Drone

I work alongside Helen of HG Aerial Imagery, who can provide stunning aerial visuals for any video projects that require a drone perspective.

Helen is a CAA approved PfCO holder qualified for commercial drone work and is available independently for aerial photography, surveys and can provide heritage building or archaeological reports based on her aerial findings.

Latest Work

All of the projects below are produced, shot and edited by myself, but I also often work as a cam-op or editor on various other projects too and do have experience on film sets, see IMDb.

The Arches Worcester Festivals Presents | Luke Jerram’s - In Memoriam

In October 2020 I was commissioned by The Arches Worcester Festivals of Severn Arts, to capture several socially distant performances that took place at In Memoriam a temporary art installation and venue that acts as a memorial and tribute to our key workers and all that have been affected by COVID-19.

Emotive storytelling is at the heart of each video, capturing the essence of what this means was so important and building strong, true narrative driven content was a priority for this project. Having the opportunity to bring together 3 very separate performances gave creative potential for a new story and viewing experience.

I also captured some interviews with local NHS workers (and a retired worker) who shared their perspective and experience of the installation.

I captured footage of the public’s interaction with the installation and worked alongside RAV Photography who produced all these still photos and portraits for this project.

It was really important to capture the performances which people couldn’t attend in person. In this sense it was important to give people a perspective that they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to get in person, so capturing an aerial angle with a drone gave these videos a unique viewing experience, thanks to HG Aerial Imagery.

Event Coverage

Utlising my network of creatives I can bring together a media team to provide visual coverage of live events.

Working with The Arches Festivals (Severn Arts) I brought together a small team, including a photographer & second videographer to work alongside myself and deliver photo and video content of Light Night Worcester.

For this project I also put together a ‘Behind the Scenes’ video (left) with short interviews from some of the participants and people behind it.

I also created a ‘Capturing Light Night Worcester’ remote interview piece (right) with the two freelancers I worked alongside capturing the event, complete with of cut-away footage and photos.

Short Documentaries

Working alongside Innovation Esports, I created a short docu-series for social media of newly formed Team JDX (JD Sports Esports Team) trip to Las Vegas.

Working with ESL, I shot and edited a 3 part travel vlog for DHL Sponsor of ESL One Mumbai (Dota 2 Esports Event) which premiered on the live online broadcast of the event.

Build Videos

Nothing promotes your business better than letting your new customers see the time, effort and creativity that goes on behind the walls of a new primacies or venue.

Utilising long term timelapse cameras I can capture the process of a build and visit to capture the finishing touches so you can showcase your new venue and share a video on social media as soon as its open!

Corporate & Funding

Kickstarter Videos

Working with Hanbury, I created video content for their second round of crowdfunding on Kickstarter.

This included a full Kickstarter pitch video, gifs for the Kickstarter page and a host of social media snippets to promote the campaign from Facebook ads to Instagram Stories.

Live talk videos

I can capture live talks from up to 2 camera angles working solo or more working with a second or third shooter.

This can then be synced to the audio captured via the venue’s sound desk or I can mic up the necessary speakers.
